Description: To learn hull structures it is important to image actual features of thestructures. However, the hull structural plans of existings ships are almost confidential matters of the designers, shipbuilders and others concerned. Therefore the published structural plans are a very few.
This "Illustrations of hull structures" intends to provide a book that can be used by persons to learn about hull structures.
The general arrangements, ship sizes and photograps of the many existings ships have been published in the ship`s technical joumals, books and others, and they were referred at the drawings of illustrations. However, l have never consciously referred any structural plan of the existing ships at the drawings of the illustrations except the published data. Therefore, all the hull structures shown in this book are of original based on my experience.
