In our company we have a DNV certificed maritime simulator and we recently added a VR headset to the setup. We found it to be very useful when simulating ship-to-ship operations, since one pilot (or helper) can use the headset and its positional tracking capabilities to peek over the bridge wings and see how close they are from the other vessel (or the yokohama fenders)

Good day all...
As a side research i've had the chance to help in the development of Maritime Simulation in our country...
as an answer to the gap that simulator room gives... since ship bridges varies in form, size and function...
and my query is that, will it make an impact for the better or for worse.
Hoping that some of you may shed light on the matter.
